The Daily Graphic calls on Ghanaians irrespective of their political affiliations to stand against any act of corruption or crime. The paper urges the State to prosecute all those who loot the country's resources. Making reference to the mess exposed at the National Service Scheme and the use of state funds to rent accommodation for the boss of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice, the Graphic says the canker of corruption and acts of indiscipline if not dealt with, will threaten the future of the country, making the struggle to build a better Ghana a mere pipe dream. 

The Ghanaian Times comments on the financial scandal at the National Service Secretariat and says it is time to exorcise the ghosts in the service. The paper commends officials of the BNI who uncovered the widespread and deep seated corruption at the place. The Times is sad and disappointed that such a scam has gone on for a long time without detection. It points out that the activities of the officials have exposed the serious lapses within the service that must be addressed. The paper insists that the scheme needs a major shake up to restore it back to its original goal. 

The Daily Heritage calls on Ghanaian leaders to learn how to resign when they fall victim to mismanagement of funds. The paper using the Commissioner of CHRAJ as an example says it is simply outrageous for the state to spend a whopping $ 203,500 as rent for the Commissioner in an economy that has run to the IMF for help. The Heritage refers to the resignation of the US Secret Service Director, Julian Pierson on her failure to secure the White House and says it is vital that Ghanaian leaders learn from her.
