Sagnarigu District Assembly Completes Street Naming Exercise The Sagnarigu District Assembly in the Northern Region has completed its street naming exercise. Addressing some journalists, the District Chief Executive of Sagnarigu, Mohammed Sorugudoo, said the district budgeted for GH¢ 268,000 but GH¢ 150,000 has been disbursed so far. He said the district which was carved out of the Tamale Metropolis, organised a forum involving opinion leaders, traditional rulers, and representatives of political parties among others, to decide on the street naming exercise. According to Mr Sorugudoo, the district procured street naming equipment as well as GPS trapping indicating various roads. He said 70% of the streets have been covered with the sign post of names given to the streets of Sagnarigu. GBC
