Four Persons Accused Of Stealing State Monies

Four people have been arraigned before an Accra Circuit for defrauding the state to the tune of GH¢ 8,300.17. 

The four include Godwin Amegbe a staff of the Controller and Accountant General's Department and Sonny Eric Adinyirah also with the Department attached to CHRAJ. 

The two others are Mawufemar Wugah who works with ASSA saving and loans company and Kennedy Antwi who is an employee of Zoomlion. 

One other suspect Richard Asamoah is at large. 

All the four pledged not guilty to two counts of conspiracy and three counts of stealing. 

The suspects have been admitted to GH¢ 200,000.00 bail with three sureties each to be justified. 

They are to reappear on the 30th of next month.
