MMDCEs urged to ensure compliance with directive on fee charges Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) have been tasked to strengthen their Education Oversight Committees, to supervise and monitor the activities of Senior High Schools within their jurisdictions. By this, they will be able to among other things ensure compliance with the directive that fee charges must be within a specific range. According to the directive by government, the current fees for new students in boarding houses in second cycle schools across the country is GH¢ 668.50 each while day students will pay GH¢ 355.50. For continuing students, the approved fees payable per term is GH¢ 385.00 for boarding students and GH¢ 73.00 for day students.
