Expert Lauds President Mahama’s UN General Assembly Speech

An International Relations Expert, Irbad Ibrahim, says President Mahama performed well in his speech at the 69th UN session in New York. 

He said the president did well by touching on most issues in the sub-region. 

On Ebola, Mr Ibrahim said the fact that President Mahama opted to use Accra as the headquarters of the UN mission on Ebola emergency response, shows that he has already done enough. 

Touching on Terrorism, Mr Ibrahim said Africa has become a vast pool of recruitment for terrorists. 

This he said is because most of the youth are under 35 and unemployed.
