Third Regional Ministers Conference Ends In Wa 

The third Regional Ministers Conference in Wa will end on Friday with a communiqué. 

The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Julius Debrah, under whose auspices the meeting is being held said the time has come for the regional Co-ordinating Councils, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives to take local economic development seriously. 

Mr Debrah told the regional minister that Ghana's status as lower middle income calls for a paradigm shift from the regional to the district level.
