Inability of Ghanaian produce to compete globally blamed on poor packaging The Acting Minister of Trade and Industry Dr. Mustapha Ahmed have cited poor packaging as the bane of local manufacturing companies, to compete favourably with the foreign ones. Dr. Ahmed explained that environmentally friendly packaging will help made in Ghana goods meet international standards, reduce waste and limit the harmful impact modern living has on the environment. Speaking at this year's Packaging Summit in Accra, Dr. Ahmed said there is the need for effective and sustainable packaging practices in Ghana. Source: GBC
