GPPCA calls on government to remove tariffs

The Ghana Printers and Paper Converters Association, has called on government to remove tariffs on locally produced books.

According to the Association, many book publishing companies have closed down due to high taxes.

Addressing stakeholders in the printing industry in Accra, its Executive Secretary, William Turkson said, the challenges facing the industry must be addressed immediately to create job opportunities for the youth as well as generate revenue for development.
