Expert worried over neglect of ethical issues in Ebola fight A Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana, Dr Amos Laar has expressed worry over the neglect of ethical issues in the fight and management of the Ebola disease. He for example raised issues over the ethical consideration taken in the share and use of limited resources in the fight and treatment of the Ebola virus. He questions the consideration given in the provision of anti-Ebola drugs to the large number of reported cases of infections. Dr Laar speaking to Radio Ghana said it is important that countries consider the issues of ethics and human rights as well as the effective communication in each step on the treatment and management of the Ebola disease.
