Ministry of Health seeks legal backing for alternative funding of Health Training Institutions

The Ministry of Health says it would seek legal backing for alternative funding of Health Training Institutions.

The sector minister Dr. Kwaku Agyeman Mensah, who disclosed this in Sunyani said as part of the process the Ministry has set up a committee to meet with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning to approve allowances for the running of the Ministry of Health Institutions.

The Health Minister said this at the opening of the 9th Conference of Heads of Health Training Institutions in Sunyani.
