Ebola spread in DR Congo under control The Democratic Republic of Congo has recorded no new cases of the Ebola virus in the past 12 days, suggesting that efforts to contain the outbreak are proving successful. Mayor of the Eastern city of Goma however says it is too early to say the Ebola threat is over.
