Prof Badu Akorsah Protests Against Kwesi Appiah’s Sacking A Leading member of the CPP, Professor and sports enthusiast Agyeman Badu Akorsah has registered his protest at the manner in which Coach Kwesi Appiah was sacked by the GFA. Professor Akorsah told Radio Ghana that if the GFA goes ahead to appoint Serbian Coach Milovan Rejevac, some of the soccer enthusiasts will openly express disgust. He wondered why Government should sit idle for the GFA to do anything it liked and said it is time the GFA is brought to order. Professor Akorsah also called for the establishment of a proper coaching Academy to train Ghanaian coaches to bring them to international standard. On salaries of Ghanaian Coaches, Professor Akosah said Kwesi Appiah is paid one sixth of what Serbian coaches are paid. According to him, if Ghanaian coaches are paid well, it could serve as a morale boaster and raise their confidence level. Professor Akorsah wondered how many Serbian coaches have won Ghana any World Cup Match and asked Ghanaians to wake up to stop the GFA from mismanaging Ghanaian Football. GBC
