National Peace Council calls for attitudinal change to conserve energy The Chairman of the National Peace Council, Right Rev Professor Emmanuel Asante, has expressed disgust at the manner in which street lights are left on during day time. He said in this era of load shedding, we must not compromise on this unacceptable act of indiscipline wastage and shirking of responsibilities. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Rev Professor Asante said he could not fathom how the lights which are meant for the night are left on during the day and go off when needed in the night. He has therefore called for an attitudinal change to conserve energy, whiles the utilities services must be more responsible and bring to book their workers whose actions are responsible for the wastage.
