Accra Risk Running Short Of Water If Rate Of Depletion Of Atiwa Forest Continues – Forestry Commission

The Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission, Samuel Afari Dartey, says Accra risk running short of water if the spate of abuse of the Atiwa Forest Reserves continues. 

Speaking to Radio, he said the Atiwa Forest protects three water bodies including those that serve Accra and its environs and if the rate of depletion is not halted the consequence will be grievous.
