Joe Ghartey Declares Support For Nana Addo

Former Presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party, Joe Ghartey has decided to support Nana Akufo Addo in the flag bearership race for the NPP's primaries. 

At the NPP's super delegates congress, Mr Joe Ghartey got only 22 votes representing 7% of the total valid votes cast. 

He then pulled out of the race without stating which of the candidates he is lending his support to. 

Mr Joe Ghartey on Monday joined Nana Akufo-Addo to thank 61 delegates from the Western Region who voted in the August 31 Special Electoral College. 

Last week, MP for Asuogyaman and a former presidential aspirant, Osei Ameyaw, declared his support for Nana Addo. 

Joe Ghartey explained that he is clear in his mind about his support for Nana Akufo-Addo.
