Multi sectoral stakeholder committee to establish systems of tourism statistics inaugurated

The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mrs. Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare, says just as data cannot be divorced from planning, statistics is even more critical to any development agenda.

She was of the view that data collection and analysis are building blocks to bolstering the gains of any economy.

Mrs. Ofosu Agyare said this at the inauguration of a multi sectoral stakeholder committee on establishing systems of tourism statistics in Accra.
