Wildlife Education Programme For Garu-Tempane Residents Following Elephant Attack Following the Killing of a 50 year old man by an elephant in the Garu-Tempane District, the Upper East Regional Wild Life Division of the forestry Commission is embarking on educational and sensitization programme towards rejuvenating relationship between the people and wildlife. The Upper East Regional Manager of the Wild life division, John Naada Majan, disclosed this to Radio Ghana. He said that the aggressiveness of the elephant was attributed partly to the fact that it was shot earlier by some unknown persons. GBC
