PNC National Executive Committee Endorses Merger With Convention Peoples Party

The Peoples National Convention PNC says it endorses the need to merge with the Convention Peoples Party CPP. 

Although this idea has been on the drawing board for some time now, both parties say they are now poised to make it a reality. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, the General Secretary of the PNC, Bernard Mornah, said the National Executive Committee gave a definite backing to this idea at its meeting last Saturday. 

He said the PNC however had some reservations on the CPP's propositions. 

He hopes with the help of mediators, both parties will come to a compromise on a road map.
