Health Ministry Presents Protective Equipment To Tertiary Institutions

The Ministry of Health says the 500 pieces of personal protective equipment it presented to tertiary   institutions forms part of precautionary measures against the deadly Ebola disease. 

The PRO of the Ministry, Tony Goodman, in an interview with Radio Ghana said the Ministry in collaboration with the Ministry of Education has trained health personnel in the tertiary institutions on the use of the protective equipment. 

Meanwhile, the Rector of Kumasi Polytechnic, Professor N.N Sowah, has welcomed the Ministry’s initiative saying the presentation of the equipment is a step towards the preparedness of the polytechnic's preparedness in the fight against Ebola.
