Highlights of Annual Fofie Festival

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur says Ghanaians must take the adage, “cleanliness is next to Godliness” serious and embrace its message on the importance of personal and environmental hygiene. Adding that, the surroundings and towns must be kept clean to stop the current outbreak of cholera. He was speaking at a durbar to round off the annual Fofie of the People of Techiman in Brong-Ahafo. Mr Amissah Arthur pledged the support of the government for initiatives from the Techiman Traditional Authorities to mobilize resources to construct a Police Barracks and an air strip.
