Free gate For Ghana - Uganda Qualifier

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga has ordered that the Blacks Stars game against the Cranes of Uganda at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium be free of charge.

The move is intended to appease disgruntled fans as well as attract supporters to the stadium after the Black Stars poor showing at the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.

Angry fans have lost confidence in the team, and have publicly expressed indifference towards the team’s forthcoming 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier game with Uganda in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

The Black Stars play their first qualifying game on Saturday before they travel to neighbouring Togo to take on the Hawks four days later.
