The Daily Graphic commends the contractor working on the Atuabo Gas Plant for the success of the project. It says the contractor, Sinopec, and especially people behind the scenes have done a good job. The paper hopes the remaining works will be carried out as soon as possible for the country to experience the joy of seeing the plant come on stream. Though the Graphic congratulates the Ghana Gas Company, it challenges the team to let the gas flow. 

The Ghanaian Times says it is alarming that despite the efforts by the presidency, Cholera cases continue to increase with no end seemingly in sight.  It says it is an undeniable fact that the cases will continue to rise due to the appalling sanitary conditions in the city. The paper finds it troubling that although it is known that food vending is a major source and cause of the disease, not much has been done in that area. It however believes that the ban of food vending would not solve the problem as it might even be difficult to enforce. The Times urges all stakeholders to come together to tackle the scourge in a more pragmatic and well-coordinated manner to prevent more deaths. 

The Today Newspaper impresses on government to wake up to it responsibilities of providing the needs of the people. According to the paper, it is the responsibility of governments across the world to improve upon the wellbeing of its citizens, and the Ghana government is no exception. The paper cites incidents where residents and commercial drivers have had cause to protest against poor road network in the communities. The paper urges government not to encourage the practice of citizens always taking to the streets to demonstrate on some of these things before action is taken. 

The Heritage says banning food vendor along the streets will not solve the Cholera crisis. The paper says in an era of economic hardship the best any state institution can do is to take the food out of the mouth of the people. The paper questions the rationale behind the ban. It asks the Ghana Health Service to concentrate on massive education as a preventive measure and infected person reporting early to the hospitals and stop the needless war with food vendors.
