World Vision Ghana Presents Materials On Ebola To Ghana Health Service

World Vision Ghana, has presented Ebola Information, Education and Communication [IEC] material, worth 457,000 cedis to the Ghana Health Service. 

This is to complement government's effort at educating the public to prevent the outbreak of the deadly virus. 

Speaking at the presentation in Accra, the Acting Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Gloria Quansah,said the virus comes in a form of fever and advised the public to report to the nearest health facility with symptoms like fever.

She also asked the public to  be open to health practitioners when they encounter the virus. 

This she said, will allow for early treatment and also spare health officials from contracting the virus should it occur. 

She lauded world vision for their kind gesture adding that the materials will be distributed to the ten regions.
