Redundancy In Country Especially Tema Increases - ICU


The Tema Regional Officer of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union, Eleazer Nyaunu, has expressed concern over the increasing number of redundancies in the Country especially in industries within Tema.

Speaking to Obonu News, Mr. Nyaunu said most of these laid-off workers are frustrated considering the harsh economic situation and their inability to fend for their families.

Mr. Nyaunu said it is about time the labour front is tightened to ensure that government pays particular attention to industry.
