Former President Rawlings eulogises late Col Peter Agbeko 

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has paid tribute to the late Col Peter Agbeko, first Ghanaian Director of Legal Services of the Ghana Armed Forces, describing him as an affable character who treated
everyone with respect irrespective of their rank. 

Former President Rawlings  said this in a tribute  when a delegation called on him  to
formally inform him of the passing of the former military officer.

President Rawlings expressed his condolences to the wife and family of the departed  Officer .He said even as the culture of rigidity remained intact in the military institution, the values of mutual respect and affection  was not compromised. 

Colonel Agbeko he added was a personality who reflected all these attributes in an
outstanding manner. 

The delegation comprised Colonel Michael Gbagonah, Commander Assasie Gyimah and Peter Agbeko, son of the late Colonel Agbeko.
