Afua Sutherland Park To Be Renovated - Nana Oye Lithur 

The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur, says her ministry is under taking a number of projects to provide better services to beneficiaries under the social protection policy.

Madam Lithur said there are plans to renovate the Afua Sutherland Park as well as the Dansoman Children's park which are in a deplorable state.

She added that there is a review of adoption processes in the country and will close down all orphanages that have not met the requirement. 

Madam Lithur said her ministry will establish a central adoption authority where all adoption processes in the country will be done in one office in Accra. 

The Minister revealed this when she took her turn at the Meet the Press series in Accra.
