Nana Akuffo Addo Mourns Maulvi Dr. Wahab Adam Dead The 2012 flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akuffo Addo says he is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of the Ameer and Missionary-in-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Maulvi Dr. Wahab Adam. In a statement Nana Addo said the nation is indebted to him for his many years of service and dedication and the profound contribution he made to its spiritual and moral welfare. He said he and Maulvi Wahab Adam had a good personal and working relationship. He said, as Attorney General, he had the privilege of recommending him to President Kufuor for appointment as a member of the National Reconciliation Commission, which was set up to heal the wounds of the nation after decades of military rule. Nana Addo said while in London, Maulvi Wahab Adam invited him to attend a conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, which proved to be an interesting experience. He said the country has lost a most illustrious son. Nana Addo expressed sincere condolences and sympathies to the family of the late Maulvi Dr. Wahab Adam and all Ahmadi Muslims across the country and the world. Source: GBC
