Mexico Cruise To Win Against Croatia 3 - 1 To Qualify


Mexico have made it into the Round of 16 of a FIFA World Cup for the sixth time running.

El Tri turned on the style after a barren first half to score thrice in 10 minutes late in the second half, beating Croatia 3-1 to qualify out of Group A alongside hosts Brazil.
 
Captain Rafael Marquez headed them into the lead on 72 minutes, with Andres Guardado adding to the tally just two minutes later. 

Striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez scored their last eight minutes later, but coach Miguel Herrera's men ended up conceding via a strike from Croatia's Ivan Perisic three minutes from time.

The game was marred a minute from time as Rebe Antic of Croatia was red-carded.
