Brazil FIFA World Cup: Black stars can still make it

Minister of Youth and Sports, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has urged Ghanaians to continue to have faith in the senior national football team, the Black Stars, as they play their German counterparts tomorrow in their second Group G match in Fortaleza, Brazil.

He said the Black Stars can still qualify for the next stage of the World Cup if they improve on their performance and avoid the mistakes that caused their two-one loss to the US. 

Speaking in an interview before the team left its base in Maceio for Fortaleza, Mr. Afriyie Ankrah appealed to Ghanaians to put the US defeat behind them and with one voice and unity of purpose support the Black Stars to qualify from their group.
