Russian Foreign Ministry says the West is hindering the UN Security Council’s work on a draft resolution on that country and Ukraine and has therefore called on the Council to show its commitment to the peaceful resolution of the country’s crisis.

Spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said it is worrying that many western members of the Security Council are looking for various pretexts to maximally hinder progress of work on the Russian project.
