Ghana Reinsurance Company Makes Profit The Ghana Reinsurance company limited posted a 50 percent profit after tax of 30 million cedis up from the 20 million it made in 2012. The company's direct payments to government also totalled more than10 thousand cedis being three million cedis in dividends and more than seven thousand in corporate taxes. The Board Chairman of Ghana Reinsurance, Lionel Molbila made this known at the Annual General Meeting of the Company in Accra. According to Mr Molbila, the company had shown a remarkable strength in a challenging financial year, saying it focused on strengthening its capital base and deepening its expansion on the African continent. He gave assurance that the Board, Management and staff would work hard to improve on their performance. Source : GBC
