Multilateral Assistance Agreement to end child marriage in the country signed

Governments of Ghana and the Netherlands in collaboration with
UNICEF have signed a six million Euro partnership agreement to help
address the problem of child marriage.  

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur, who signed on behalf
of the Government of Ghana emphasized women's role in  efforts to minimise any form of discrimination against the girl child such as child marriage.
