Handling and Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Substances

The Acting Director of the Tema Port, Jacob Adokor says accidents at the Port are bound to occur due to the constant handling and transportation of dangerous goods and substances.

He said the Port is however adequately prepared to respond quickly and efficiently to such accidents   in order to prevent the spread of any harmful effect. 

Mr. Adokor said this at the opening of a four day workshop on Emergency Preparedness and Dangerous Goods Handling in Tema.
