President Mahama Urges Black Stars On

President John Mahama says despite Monday’s defeat the Black Stars suffered at the hands of the Yanks of USA, the Stars can rise again. 

He said though Ghana lost its first match, they must be determined to fight back and be victorious. 

President Mahama said Ghana over the years is not a country that can easily be counted out. 

He urged the Stars to persevere, come back stronger and braver just like their name to continue to shine the light of Ghana and indeed all of Africa to the world. 

President Mahama is also encouraging Ghanaians to be more supportive and optimistic and not to be discouraged by the defeat but rather focus and throw their weight behind the National Team.
