Gbese Mantse Performs Annual Ritual to End Ban on Drumming & Noise Making in Accra

Gbese Mantse, Nii Ayi - Bonte has performed the annual ritual of beating the drums to signify the lifting of the ban on drumming and noise making. 

The one month period of silence was used by the traditional authorities of the Ga state, to seek the face of the gods. 

The ceremony which was done peacefully was characterised by the usual chants and merry making. 

Addressing the media and people, the Gbese Mantse, Nii Ayi -Bonte called on Chiefs to unite and build a powerful state.
