GBC Engineering Training School holds graduation

Tertiary Institutions have been urged to review the educational curriculum to introduce subjects on entrepreneurship. 

This will help equip graduands who come out of the various institutions with profitable skills.

The Acting Board Chairman of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Edward Asare, said this at the graduation ceremony of the GBC Engineering Training School in Accra. 

He said the training has come at a time broadcasting is globally going digital.

Mr Asare said broadcasting is a very important function that can be performed, if the major players in the industry are adequately equipped with the relevant skills to meet the challenges of the work.

He therefore entreated the graduands to carry out their duties in the broadcasting industry with professionalism without being influenced by partisan and parochial considerations.

The Acting Director-General of GBC, Kwabena Sarpong Annane, disclosed that, the GBC Training School is taking the initiative to affiliate with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

In all 76 students graduated including two females.
