The Daily Graphic is highly disappointed in the performance of the Senior National Team, the Black Stars.
The paper believes it's high time some crucial steps were taken to address the challenges militating against the optimal performance of the Stars.
The paper expresses worry about the performance of the Black Stars and thinks Ghanaians have tolerated their poor display for far too long.
The Daily Graphic says the indiscipline and rowdy behaviour in the team ought to be addressed, following the incident of Sulley Muntari and Kelvin-Prince Boateng who have been banned from the team.
It says the ban of the two and others had an effect on the team considering the vital role they play.
The Daily Graphic says there is no doubt that Ghanaians are passionate about football and therefore The Black Stars is a national asset.
Meanwhile the senior national team will arrive today.
The Ghanaian times also writes on the performance of the the Black Stars.
The Times believes the display of the Stars was abysmal, disappointing and shocking.
The paper says the failure of the Stars to win at least a third place medals at the just ended African Cup of Nations is so painful that Ghanaians have been calling for the dissolution of the team.
The Ghanaians Times says last Saturday's loss to Burkina Faso has unanimously been traced to the players who were lined up against the opponents.
The Paper believes the perennial under achievement of the Black Stars must be thoroughly investigated and diagnosed so that remedial measures are instituted to arrest the situation.
The paper is also unhappy about the enormous resources that are spent on the Black Stars, yet they are unable to achieve the desired results.
