Editorial of the Daily heritage newspaper is saying thank you to all subscribers, partners, advertisers and stakeholders and wishing all a merry christmas and a prosperous new year.

The paper says it will from today, December 23, break for the yuletide and return to the newsstands on Monday January 9, 2017.

THE Ghanaian times writes on the increased crime rate during the festive season.

It said high spending during the season gives criminals the indication that the public have valuables that can be stolen.

The paper commended the initiatives put in place by the police to fight this canker by launching "operation father christmas".

The paper considers the move as a step in the right direction.

It says it is confident the police will do their very best to protect the public and urged the public to partner with them by being vigilant.
